I'm wondering whether the weather means anything1. The forecasts for saturday keep getting warmer and drier. Perhaps I will not need to wear a thick sweater under my gown after all.
I picked up my cap and gown a few minutes ago. I'm not sure which way to face the cap. If I turn it one way, I get a forehead like Frankenstein's creation2. If I turn it the other way, I get a widow's peak that rivals Christina Ricci.
I am debating whether I will toss it in the air at the end of the ceremony. Right on the plastic bag that contains the Cap and Gown kit, it says: NOTE: It is extremely dangerous to throw the graduation cap. Any damages or injuries caused by misuse will be the responsibility of the person(s) who performed such action. Which leads me to wonder
In other news, I am taking my second to last final exam in an hour. To review:
Indicative: me graduo
Preterite: me gradué
Imperfect: me graduaba
Present Subjunctive: me gradue
Past Subjunctive: me graduara
Present Prefect: me he graduado
Past Perfect: me había graduado
Subjunctive Present Perfect: me haya graduado
Subjunctive Past Perfect: me hubiera graduado
Gerund/Progressive: estoy graduándome
Future: me graduaré
Conditional: me graduaría.
1I am also wondering whether alliteration and homophones are as creative a literary device as I's like to think.
2If I have learned anything in college, it is that Frankenstein is not the name of the monster, but its creator. Furthermore, he is not really that horrible...he's just ugly and his peaceful heart misunderstood.
