El tiempo is conspiring against itself. The weather kills time with her beauty. It's so easy for me to forget how much I can do in one day.
Today I worked and played with Little Katie, taking a walk in the park, watching birds fly, swinging on the playground, and talking about the seven dwarfs. Little Katie is getting so smart. She is quickly embracing the language, and she is just as quick find its weaknesses and make jokes.
I did some arm exercises, which sometimes prompts Frank to call me Miss Muscles, which makes me giggle.
I read about half of Lakota Woman, a personal account from a woman who was highly involved in the American Indian Movement and whose husband is a medicine man and a former political prisoner. I am looking forward to writing a paper about this book. I'm embarrassed, though, that I have so little background on the subject.
I stayed up too late with Alycia last night, and I pulled out old photos. Well, four-year old photos, at the time when I was graduating high school and turning 18. It showed me that maybe i have grown up a little, now that I'm graduating college and turning 22 soon.
Now it looks like rain.
